admove : (고어)움직이다, 그 쪽으로 가다.

번역 1에서는 3행시(Tristich)로 번역해 보았다. 그런데, 번역 후 각 행의 feet 수가 일정하지 않아서 군더더기를 추가하여 7feet로 맞추어 보려고 시도 했다. 7 feet는 시로 읽기에는 다소 길기에 3, 4 feet 정도로 맞추어 보는 것이 좋을 것 같다. 3행을 Rhyme을 맞추기 위해, love에 admove란 고어를 사용했다. 일전에 미국 사이트에 고어를 썼더니, 영국 시인이, 읽는 데 헷깔린다가 쓰지 말라고 댓글을 단 적이 있다. 그런데, 이 시 자체가 한국어의 고어가 들어가니, 다소 고어를 쓴다고 해도 무방하리라 생각된다.

번역 2는 7행시로 현대화된 시조 형태의 원형을 살려서 번역해 보았다. 3행의 앞 부분의 두 행만 3, 5 음절로 맞추어 보았다.

번역 3은 번역 2 형태를 약간의 유희로, 고어 투 단어를 써서 번역해 보았다. 홍랑의 시 자체가 16세기 시인데, 완벽한 현대 시로 번역하는 것보다는 다소 고어 투의 형태로 번역하는 것이 더 의미가 있을 지 모르겠다. 그런데, 고어 투는 지역에 따라 상이한 부분이 많기에 예를 들면 스코틀랜드의 고어 투에 잉글랜드 남부 지방의 고어를 섞어 버린다면, 이상한 방식이 될 수 있을 것이다. 마치 絶句에 청나라 시대에 造語된 단어와 일본의 에도시대에 造語된 단어를 섞어 쓰는 것과 같이 우스운 모양으로 전락될 수도 있을 것 같다.
